New Lawn Installation by Seeding

I create new lawns by seeding at family homes, newly built properties and other sites. The work can include ground preparation and levelling, soil cultivation, grass seed sowing, fertilization and final rolling.

I mainly work in Prague, Prague-West, the Beroun area and the Central Bohemian Region.

What Lawn Installation May Include

• assessment of the current condition of the property

• removal of stones and other unwanted material

• soil cultivation using a rotavator or rotary harrow

• ground levelling and preparation

• sowing a suitable grass seed mixture

• incorporating the seed into the soil and rolling

• application of starter fertilizer

• recommendations for watering and the first mowing

Proper Soil Preparation Determines the Result

A high-quality lawn needs a properly prepared and levelled base. I determine the required work according to the soil condition, unevenness of the terrain, weed growth and the intended use of the lawn.

I use my own professional machinery, including a lawn seeder, rotavator and rotary harrow. I choose the most suitable procedure according to the conditions at each property.

How the Work Is Carried Out

 First, I assess the condition of the property and discuss the desired result with you. This is followed by soil preparation, ground levelling, seeding, fertilization and rolling. After completing the work, I will explain how to water the new lawn and when to carry out the first mowing.

What to Include in Your Enquiry

Send me several photographs of the property, its approximate size and the location of the project. For newly built properties, information about imported topsoil and access for machinery is also helpful.
